Everyday Art

There are artists everywhere in Barnegat Light. You'll find work by local painters, photographers and artisans in all the local shops. But there are also works to be enjoyed every day, most with marine motifs. The mural at Viking Village was undergoing some repainting last weekend. It displays the various species of fish which are processed through the fishery.

And the sides of a truck are also an excellent canvas for circulating nautical scenes for public enjoyment. As long as its there it might as well be inspiring, right?

And should anyone be lacking inspiration, local gull models voluntarily sit for portraits as long as is necessary - free of charge.
